“EVERY PLANE OF MAN’S BEING IS DEPENDENT UPON THE OTHER PLANES. FOR INSTANCE, IF THE BODY HAS LOST ITS RHYTHM, SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH THE MIND; IF THE MIND HAS LOST ITS RHYTHM, THE BODY GOES WRONG; IF THE HEART HAS LOST ITS RHYTHM, THE MIND IS PUZZLED; AND IF THE RHYTHM OF THE SOUL IS LOST, THEN ALL IS WRONG.” H. I. Khan

Your Leader: A composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer..

MANISH VYAS & SA

“My mission and wish is to maintain and transmit the genuine spirit of Indian music in its different genres, as I learnt it from Maestros in India since childhood, as well as from sharing music around the world merging with different cultures. In this way, this ancient music maintains its authenticity and true nature, as conceived along thousands of years in my beloved India.”

Manish Vyas was born in Gujarat, India and has been learning and teaching music since his youth, which he learnt through the years with different pandits (maestros) he met along the way since his childhood in India, and along his musical and spiritual journey.

He is composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and teacher – he plays tabla and other percussions, santoor, harmonium, piano, keyboard. Along his musical and spiritual path, he has composed hundreds of songs, mainly in the devotional, mystical and sufi genres. He has released 15 albums of music, from mantras to sufi, dance, easy-listening and instrumental based on Indian musical structures and Ragas. He has also contributed to dozens of other musicians’ productions with his compositions, voice and instruments.

His gatherings, retreats and concerts offer the perfect blend of Indian genuine sounds merged with a touch of fusion, which makes his music so accessible and appreciated by all type of listeners in the search of authentic Indian sounds. When we talks about ‘fusion’ in Indian music, it refers to the incorporation of contemporary elements, but the quality and essence of Indian music remains untouched.

He currently lives in Switzerland, offering his music mainly in Europe, but also in USA and India – where he conducts concerts, retreats and workshops. Having been the coordinator of the music in an Ashram in South India for many years, his music and presence are often said to bring people in a state of inner silence, both through the techniques shared and through the music – which has its soul in ancient India.

Sā (which refers to the main musical note in Indian music) was born in Argentina – later she moved back to her roots in Switzerland. Sa practiced yoga since the age of 20. She studied teacher’s training in USA with a direct disciple of Yogi Bhajan, Deva Kaur in Florida where she certified as Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2009. Later on, she studied the ‘mother of all yogas’, Hatha Yoga in Rishikesh, India. Manish and her met while both were participating in a 40 day silent meditation retreat in an ashram in South India and since then they never separated and share their deep love for India and the belief in the ancient treasures from India like Yoga, Music, Meditation and a spiritual simple life. Sā also studied macrobiotic lifestyle and Shiatsu in Kushi Institute in Boston, and she is also a Reiki practitioner. She currently teaches in Switzerland.

Sweet dreams guaranteed...
