Tap Water

Tap water is potable (drinkable). We’d really appreciate you considering the environment with us and using tap water — let’s keep the plastic water bottles to a minimum.

Recycling

Recycling bins are in the barn and they are marked to make it easier to everyone.

We separate :

  • Plastic wrappings and metals
  • Paper and carton (also dedicated bins in the rooms)
  • Bio
  • Plastic bottles
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Please note, there’s a bucket outdoors (by the ladder at the barn entrance) for broken glass.

Electricity

There are two electricity switchboards. One in the Guest House, on the left side in the entrance hall (behind the white curtain), which is the main switchboard for the property. Second one in the barn behind the old wardrobe doors by the main entrance. In case there are any issues with the electricity, please contact us immediately.

Wifi

The wifi is provided with the adapters plugged in the power sockets, one in the barn and another in the Guest House. You are able to connect to wifi anywhere you wish by replacing the adapter – this means also outdoors, but please, do not forget to return it inside in case of rainy weather.

As isolated as we are, you won’t find any other wifis on the typically long list. The one called “The Happy Hamlet” works without a password and the other one “STRONG_6cd8_2” has a password: y7dk3emBky (the password can also be found in the back of the gadget).

Social Media

We’re @thehappyhamlet on FB and IG – also on YouTube, Linkedin & Pinterest! Feel free to follow, tag, hashtag, mention and review us. We’ll be ever grateful. (On a side note: on Facebook, please do not use the location called “The Happy Hamlet”. Someone else has created the account and we have no control over it. You can be sure it’s us when you see our green logo!)

Guest Book

We would be grateful for a little souvenir of you in the form of a note in our Guest Book. Believe it or not, we do go back to the messages from time to time – and they always warm our hearts!

We wish you a pleasant and safe stay in the Hamlet!
