The Happy Hamlet welcomes holiday rentals (school & summer holidays, xmas and New Year), wellness and creative retreats, various private celebrations with family or friends (weekend getaways, bachelor parties, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings), as well as corporate stays (including team building, workshops, seminars and business lunches or dinners).
Consistently praised in guest reviews for the tranquil setting and warm hospitality, we (Suska & Nico) run the show with lots of love and good vibes, together with our funny furry friends. We offer an off-the-beaten-path experience rooted in slow living, countryside charm and mindful travel.
Surrounded by 13 hectares (30+ acres) of preserved countryside, our property features five charming en-suite bedrooms (accommodation for 15 guests), a large barn with vast common areas and a fully equipped semi-professional kitchen, Wi-Fi throughout, and several outdoor terraces for sunset apéros, dining under the stars and relaxation. Our happy guests can also enjoy a seasonal natural swimming pool and a sauna available year-round.

Our Story & Approach
We’re a Finnish+Czech – French couple, who packed their belongings from a little bit allover the place (world) and made a full stop on the sunny French countryside. Little did we know when we decided to make our new home in a centuries old hamlet, which we found mainly in ruins..
We’re easygoing but hard-working, happy and curious of life, which makes it natural to open our home to guests from all over the world.
