The list of things you can do in the Hamlet is pretty extensive. We are sure you will not get bored.
Walks & Wikiloc
There are plenty of possibilities for walks around the Hamlet. Ask for a map or download the Wikiloc app. You’re welcome to use our username and password: suska@thehappyhamlet.com / Hamletwalks. You can search for walks anywhere you’re located, but for those leaving from the Hamlet that we have saved for you please type “The Happy Hamlet” in the name search.
Bikes
We have bikes (currently 5) in the Hamlet that are at your disposal during your stay. Wearing a helmet is mandatory and we ask you to drive safely on the windy roads. Read more here.
Table Tennis
The table tennis is located by the natural pool. The rackets and the balls are kept under the table. In the heat of the match the ball can get lost in the surroundings. No worries – just let us know and we will have them replaced.
Petanque
When in France do what the French do. And one thing they definitely seem to love is the petanque. Our petanque field is located behind the Barn close by the parking. The balls are kept in a box on the terrace next to the field. There is also a brush to clean the field.
Mölkky
Fun fact: mölkky is originally from Finland. The game requires in addition to skills also a bit of luck. You can find the wooden pieces by the petanque field.
Volleyball
There is a volleybal net on the field next to the garden – enjoy the game!
Badminton
Please ask us for badminton rackets. If you lose a shuttlecock (or a birdie or a shuttle), just let us know so we can replace it.
Workout
If you want to sweat and pump some iron there is various workout equipment available in the barn (located in the blue wardrobe next to the TV).
Yoga & Meditation
A little morning yoga topped with the amazing sunrise in the barn or on one of the many terraces is probably the best way of starting your day. We have all the equipment (mats, blocks, bolsters and belts) available.
In case you would like to have a session with an instructor, we can provide you contact details of those that come in the Hamlet on a regular basis.
Massage
Ayurvedic massages are available as well when scheduled early enough.
Workshops
We have a network of lovely professionals with whom you could indulge yourself in art, soap-making, cooking, wild plants, pottery, infusions etc. – Do not hesitate to ask us for more information!
Escape Forest Game
Escape Rooms are already an institution, but in the Hamlet there is no “room” – your playground will be the wide forest surrounding our property. Read more about the Happy Hamlet Escape Forest Game here.

Wine Tasting
