Map & App for Plants

The Happy Hamlet is full of beautiful plants and trees. There’s a separate QR code (on the Concierge pages) for a map that will explain to you in more detail all that you can find on the property (and where). There are roughly 25 different fruit trees which means that there’s almost always something to be found ripe on the trees to enjoy! Happy exploring and please ask if you have any questions.

There’s also a cool app called “Picture This” that we like to use when wandering around in the woods and spotting flowers or plants we don’t recognise. You can get the app here.

“Plant a Tree” Garden

We plant a tree for every reservation. We are committed to make the Hamlet (and the planet) greener together with you. As your tree grows, it will absorb CO2, protect the soil and preserve the biodiversity.

We are happy to show you your tree and tell you more about the initiative and its progress (you can also find a few stats on the topic here). You can also find a QR code (on the Concierge pages) for the map of the tree garden and locate your tree by yourself!

Veggie & Fruit Sales

You can buy the products of our garden – veggies, fruits and even eggs. Just check the daily offer with our Head of Garden, also called Nicolas 🙂

Our Furry Friends

Our happy family consists of three dogs called Lulu, Maya, Elvi, Pepito the cat, two goats Ninou and Nenette, and two chickens Coco and Piaf. You can say hello to the goats and the chickens, see map to locate them.

The dogs and the cat are used to roaming around freely but if you want to have a furry-friend-free stay please let us know and we will keep them on our private side.

Ticks

There are ticks in France, too. Even if the most commonly visited areas are rather safe, we recommend checking your clothes after a walk in the woods or prairies.

Please note, our furry friends are treated against ticks – Lulu does have a little tumor (non-cancerous, no worries) on her neck that might on a quick check feel like an uninvited guest, but please do not try to take it off (which was the case once with our guests, so we prefer to mention this, too).

We wish you a pleasant and safe stay in the Hamlet!
